A dispute that began inside the Sam’s Club at Power Inn and Calvin Roads Tuesday evening ended with a man shot in the roadway on East Stockton Boulevard. Sacramento County deputies responded to the 7900 block just after 6 p.m. and found the victim with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The suspect fled the scene, and the Sheriff’s Office says no description is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing near a busy commercial stretch of Sacramento County, close to where Power Inn Road meets the East Stockton Boulevard corridor.
