The Stockton Garden Club is about to unveil its inaugural Rose Garden Tour, inviting locals to appreciate the stunning beauty of some hidden gems in the community. Scheduled for this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., this enchanting exploration will guide visitors through five unique gardens, each showcasing a different style and design.

Participants will get to traverse the lovely University Park World Peace Garden, take in the charm of the Faye Fotini Spanos Rose Garden at St. Basil’s Greek Orthodox Church, and gain inspiration at the Gerry Dunlap Rose Garden located at the Haggin Museum in Victory Park. Plus, there’s a private residence that once belonged to Gerry Dunlap himself, ensuring a diverse garden experience.

Tickets are just $25 and can be purchased at any of the participating gardens, providing the freedom to wander at your own pace and soak in the sights. Not just about enjoying the blooms, the event also supports a great cause: scholarships for local horticulture students at Delta College. So, why not treat yourself to a beautiful day among the flowers while fostering future green thumbs? It sounds like a blooming good time, doesn’t it?
