Dad Uses "Anti-Zuck" App to Call Out Smart Glasses Wearers at Beach with His Baby

A day at the beach took a surprising turn for one dad who says he spotted nearly 100 people wearing Meta smart glasses near his 6-month-old daughter. Using a $2.99 app he created called“Anti-Zuck,”the father got alerts that recording-capable glasses were all around him. He approached one wearer and politely asked him to remove the glasses, questioning why anyone would need them at a family-friendly beach.

The video, posted to TikTok, has already been viewed over 508,000 times. Some commenters defended the glasses wearers, pointing out that privacy in public spaces isn’t guaranteed. But plenty of parents sided with the dad, sharing concerns about strangers recording children without permission. The Daily Dot couldn’t independently verify the app’s claims, but the conversation it sparked is very real.
