Florida Man Arrested After Spraying Ross Employee With Mystery Liquid, Police Search For Other Victims

A 37-year-old Florida man is in custody after a disturbing incident at a Ross clothing store in Miami-Dade. Sean Edward Uribe was arrested on a battery charge after allegedly takin’inappropriate photos of a female employee and sprayin’her with an unknown liquid while she was stocking shelves. The whole thing was caught on store surveillance cameras, accordin’to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. Detectives are now DNA testin’that liquid, and they’re worried Uribe may have targeted other women across the county.

Here’s the part that has folks scratchin’their heads. Uribe wasn’t a stranger to the system. He had prior arrests for similar incidents and was actually on probation when this allegedly happened on August 17th. Police picked him up a week later, right at his probation officer’s office. A witness also identified him in a lineup without hesitation. Lead detective Diego Mendoza said it’s“pretty shocking”he’d act so boldly in front of cameras and children, and he’s concerned that this behavior may not have been limited to just one victim.

Uribe’s bond was set at $10,000 by a Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge on this felony charge.
