A Daytona Beach woman is facing a stack of charges after what started as a fender bender turned into a physical altercation and a DUI arrest straight out of a comedy sketch. Elizabeth Boucher, 24, allegedly crashed her Ford Bronco into a parked Honda on August 30th, pushing the car off the driveway. When the Honda’s owner came out to confront her, police say Boucher responded by slapping the woman across the face.

Bodycam footage from the Daytona Beach Police Department shows the arrest going off the rails pretty quickly. When officers asked Boucher for her driver’s license, she produced a passport instead. She then pleaded with officers not to take her to jail, declaring“I thought we were all friends”at one point. The video also captures her attempting to walk away from the officers mid-arrest, as if the whole thing was just a misunderstanding she could politely excuse herself from.

Boucher was booked into the Volusia County Jail and released the following day. She’s facing charges including DUI, battery by touch or strike, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance. Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 21st. It’s a textbook case of a night out going from zero to sixty in a hurry, and a reminder that good decisions usually stop at the bar.
