Florida Woman Faces Felony Charges After Allegedly Trying to Extort Boyfriend with Intimate Photos and Deportation Threat

A Miami-Dade woman is in hot water after a breakup took a seriously criminal turn. Nineteen-year-old Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez was arrested Friday and charged with felony extortion after allegedly demanding $20,000 from a man she was dating. The catch? She reportedly found out he had a girlfriend the entire time, and instead of just walking away, she decided to make him pay.

According to the sheriff’s office, Rodriguez Gonzalez threatened to leak intimate photos to the man’s girlfriend, business partner, and social media. She also threatened to report him for deportation if he refused to pay up. She even sent one of the photos to his girlfriend and business partner before her arrest. In one message, she allegedly wrote,“Give me my money, or I escalate this worse.”Deputies say she confessed to the threats, but claimed she was“joking.”She’s since been released on a $7,500 bond and is due in court in October.
