The Roseville Police Department is racing against time as they investigate a string of car burglaries that hit three local hotels in the span of one night. Between 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, about ten vehicles were targeted, with the dastardly methods leaving behind a trail of broken glass and frustrated guests.
Most of the break-ins were concentrated at the Home2 Suites by Hilton along Freedom Way and Highway 65. A couple of burglaries occurred just across the street at the Residence Inn, while a few others were reported at Larkspur Landing Hotel, about three miles away. Police are looking into potential connections between the incidents, though they aren’t confirming anything just yet.
It’s somewhat reminiscent of a low-budget heist film—intriguing yet infuriating. As the police continue their investigation, it’s crucial for hotel visitors to be vigilant, lock their cars, and keep valuables out of sight. After all, it seems some guests are checking in and checking out with a little less than they came with!
