Students at Tracy High School were changing in an on-campus locker room when they noticed a cell phone recording them. They reported it to a teacher immediately, and that report led Tracy Police to 48-year-old Jeffery Pribble, a teacher at the school and the head coach of the varsity football team. He was arrested Friday.
Pribble has coached at Tracy High since 2004 and became head coach in 2021. Tracy Unified School District placed him on leave and said it is cooperating with law enforcement, adding that it is committed to holding employees to the highest professional and ethical standards.
