Tree Trimming Gone Wild: The Day a San Jose Worker Took an Upside-Down Detour

In an unexpected turn of events this week, a tree trimming job in San Jose spiraled into a serious medical emergency. A worker found himself dangling 75 feet above the ground, legs in the air, after suffering a medical issue while tackling a palm tree. Imagine swinging from the branches, only to find out your body has other plans!

As the San Jose Fire Department scrambled to respond, the worker spent a tense 90 minutes suspended in the air. With ladders proving ineffective, their solution was to call in a helicopter for the rescue. A brave firefighter was lowered from the chopper to secure the precarious position of the worker and, thankfully, bring him back down for medical assistance.

He was transported to the hospital, where doctors reported he was in serious condition. We may joke about‘hanging in there’in tough times, but this worker has certainly taken it to a new level. Let’s just hope the next time he gets a call for palm tree work, it’s on solid ground!
