The song is part of“So Much for Goodbyes,”a 16-track project set for release on August 28th via Reprise Records. Produced alongside the legendary T Bone Burnett, the record was crafted during a significant period of grief, and Strings has been clear about the motivation behind it.“I made this record to honor my mother,”he shared, and that sentiment is reflected in every corner of the project, including the album’s artwork, which features original pieces by his late mother, Debra Apostol.

The new single continues a remarkable run for the bluegrass star, who recently earned six nominations at the 37th Annual IBMA Awards. Adding to a busy season, his first annual“Ionia Freak Fair”festival is set to take over Ionia, Michigan on August 28th and 29th.
