Fall is officially maze season, and this year twenty farms across the U.S. and Canada are rolling out something truly special: corn mazes designed in tribute to Dolly Parton. Created by The Maize Inc., these mazes feature interactive games, Dolly-themed photo opportunities, and storytelling woven throughout the paths. They were planned before her passing on August 25th, and now they serve as a heartfelt celebration of her music and her generosity.
A portion of every ticket sold goes directly to Parton’s Imagination Library, the book-gifting program she founded in 1995. To date, it has distributed more than 304 million books to children, and this year marks its 31st anniversary. So when you take the family out to get lost in the corn, you’re also helping little ones discover the joy of reading. That’s a legacy worth celebrating.
Whether you’re a lifelong Dolly fan or just looking for a fun way to spend a crisp autumn afternoon, these mazes offer something for everyone. Check with your local farms to see if one near you is participating. Have you ever walked through a themed corn maze? What was the theme, and would you go out of your way for a Dolly one?
