Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen have a whole lot to celebrate this week. Their collaboration“I Can’t Love You Anymore”just moved up to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, and it did it in just 15 weeks. That’s six weeks faster than the current average for a trip to the top, which tells you radio listeners have been hammering that request line.

But the milestone goes deeper than one song. Morgan Wallen now has 22 Country Airplay No. 1s, and he’s the first lead artist in the chart’s 36-year history to hold the top spot for two consecutive weeks with different songs. Last week it was“Don’t We,”this week it’s this duet. Tim McGraw was the only other artist to ever pull off the back-to-back trick, back in 2002. For Ella, this marks her fifth chart leader, and it’s extra special because she co-wrote the track alongside Austin Goodloe and Joybeth Taylor.

It’s a big moment for two artists who clearly have a connection fans can feel through the speakers. Whether you heard it first on the radio or through your playlist, there’s no denying this song has found its home at the top of the country charts. What’s your favorite line from“I Can’t Love You Anymore”? Tell us in the comments.
