Lainey Wilson is doing it again. The Louisiana native will solo-host the 60th annual CMA Awards on Nov. 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and in doing so, she becomes the first woman in the show’s history to solo-host twice. The announcement came Saturday during ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast from LSU, right in Wilson’s home state.
Wilson previously solo-hosted the 2025 ceremony after co-hosting with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024. Her trophy case is already stacked with 12 CMA Awards collected in just three years, putting her second all-time among female artists behind only Miranda Lambert’s 14. The milestone 60th anniversary broadcast will air live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
Vince Gill still holds the record for most solo-hosting gigs with 10, but Wilson’s back-to-back run is carving out a legacy of its own. Nominees will be revealed Thursday, Sept. 10 on Good Morning America and the CMA’s YouTube channel, with tickets going on sale Sept. 18.
