September 11 carries real weight for most of us. But this date on the calendar has also been the launch pad for some of history’s brightest moments, and they deserve a mention too. And in 1945, the first successful kidney dialysis was performed, a medical breakthrough that’s saved countless lives since.
What strikes me about all of this is how much of it started small. A few conservationists. A young band in a studio. A doctor trying something new. Nobody set out to change the world in a single day, they just set out to do something that mattered in their own corner of it. And that’s a lesson worth carrying with us, no matter what the calendar says.
