Shania Twain’s 1998 classic“You’re Still the One”has been reimagined by producer and DJ Zedd for Candy Crush’s Music Season 2026. The new version keeps Shania’s original vocal front and center while adding dance-oriented production, giving the wedding-reception staple an entirely new setting. The release also comes with an interactive music video set in a“Candy Country”world, complete with hidden clues and rewards for players to uncover.
Shania told Billboard the concept caught her off guard at first, but she embraced it as a new chapter.“It takes it to a different universe, is a good way to put it,”she said, comparing the rework to how Whitney Houston’s version of Dolly Parton’s“I Will Always Love You”gave new life to a song without erasing the original. That experience has her thinking about more ways to reinvent her catalog across music, film, and theater.“I just think it’s a never-ending journey creatively,”she added.
Fans who jump into the Candy Crush event can also enter for VIP trips to meet Shania or Zedd on tour. It’s a crossover that connects country, dance, and gaming audiences around one familiar melody.
