Stella Lefty has officially released her debut album,“Long Way Home,”and it’s been worth the wait. The 14-track project includes seven brand new songs alongside the hits fans already know, like“Boston”and“Thinking’bout You.”The album leans into the pop-country sound that first inspired her to make music, and it shows.“Boston”alone has already topped 400 million streams and hit the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, so expectations were high. She delivered.
The album’s release comes on the heels of her Lollapalooza debut, where she announced the project in front of a hometown crowd of 12,000. Fans also get a peek into her personal story through the cover art, which recreates a childhood photo featuring a yellow bandana and white tank top. There’s a co-write with Julia Michaels on“Lean In, Kiss Me,”and a November tour that will hit both Australia and North America.
If you’ve been following Stella’s rise since“Boston”first started climbing the charts, this album brings the whole story together. It’s nostalgic, heartfelt, and made for fans who like their country with a pop edge.
