Taylor Swift, Chris Stapleton, and Miranda Lambert Nominated for 2026 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame

The pop-crossover sensation just received a nomination for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in the contemporary songwriter/artist category, barely four weeks after making history as the first recipient of the Hal David Starlight Award to be inducted into the broader Songwriters Hall of Fame. But she won’t be the only major name competing for recognition. Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Phil Vassar are also nominated in the same category, with just one available spot up for grabs. The Nashville SHOF announced a total of eight nominees in the contemporary songwriters category, with two induction spots available in that group alone.
