Aaron Rodgers Reconciled With His Family After Years Apart: "I'm in a Much Better Headspace"

After nearly a decade of estrangement, Aaron Rodgers says he has reconciled with his parents, Ed and Darla, and with both of his brothers, Luke and Jordan. Rodgers shared the news on the“Not Just Football”podcast, describing how it all unfolded: first a meeting with his parents at their home in Chico, California, before their move to Nashville, then a reunion with Luke, and finally Jordan a few weeks later.

The rift first became public in 2016 when Jordan discussed the strained relationship on Season 12 of“The Bachelorette.”Through the years, Rodgers chose not to air the family’s business in the press, saying it never felt like the right thing to do. This time, he opened up on his own terms, crediting his wife, Brittani, whom he secretly married in 2025, for changing his outlook.“When you’re loved by someone in such an unconditional and beautiful, pure way, it changes your perspective on all your relationships,”he said.

Rodgers added that there were tough conversations along the way but that he’s“in a much better headspace”now.
