Aaron Rodgers Shuts Down Rumors About His Wife Brittani: "I Don't Care"

Aaron Rodgers isn’t losing sleep over the internet rumors that his wife Brittani doesn’t exist. During a Thursday appearance on Cam Heyward’s podcast, the Steelers quarterback brushed off the speculation entirely, even questioning whether the people pushing it would have any platform at all if not for the controversy surrounding his COVID-19 vaccination stance. Rodgers has never been one to chase approval, and this was no exception.

What he did share was a story worth hearing. He met Brittani in 2017, right before she left for Europe, and his biggest regret is not proposing before she boarded that plane. Instead, he spent years consumed by football and admits he was emotionally unavailable through relationships with Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley. Late in 2024, he and Brittani reconnected. They eloped in 2025.

Now Rodgers says the 2026 NFL season will be his last, and his focus is shifting to starting a family with Brittani. After years of headlines and hard seasons, it sounds like he’s finally exactly where he wants to be.
