B2K's Raz-B and Wife Mona Mourn Loss of 3-Month-Old Son Astro

Raz-B, born De’Mario Thornton of the R&B group B2K, and his wife Mona Li Thornton announced Thursday, Sept. 10 that their three-month-old son, Astro Monte Thornton, passed away unexpectedly. A spokesperson confirmed the infant died of undisclosed causes, and the family has asked for privacy as they navigate this difficult time. The couple also share an older son, Versai Carter Thornton, who was born in October 2024.

B2K released their fourth album, Eclipse, earlier this year and are currently out on their Boys 4 Life tour, with three shows scheduled in England this December.
