Celine Dion Returns to the Stage in Paris After Four-Year Battle With Rare Illness

Celine Dion walked onto the stage at Plenitude Arena in Paris Saturday night and opened with“On Ne Change Pas.”It was her first performance since announcing in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological condition that causes stiff limbs and severe muscle spasms and affected both her walking and her vocal cords. She told the crowd she had promised herself not to cry, then thanked them for coming.
