Cindy Crawford's Gucci Runway Shoe Slip, and Why She's Not Slowing Down at 60

Cindy Crawford is opening up about a moment most of us would have panicked through. The 60-year-old supermodel told Porter magazine that during Gucci’s cruise 2027 show in Times Square, her heel slipped out of her shoe the instant she stepped onto the runway. She never got it back in. The gown she was wearing was so heavy and so full of feathers that her feet were completely hidden, so she kept walking and the crowd was none the wiser.

The show itself was a star-studded affair. Paris Hilton and Tom Brady both walked the catwalk, with Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Lindsay Lohan and Shawn Mendes seated front row. Crawford admitted she was nervous about such a big production, but her daughter, fellow model Kaia Gerber, was right there supporting her and proud of her mom for going for it.

Crawford also made it clear she has no interest in stepping back from modeling, and she pushed back on the notion that women of a certain age should become invisible.
