D.L. Hughley Calls for Cancellations: Did You Hang Out with Epstein? Time to Face the Music!

D.L. Hughley isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to the wealthy elite and their questionable associations. Talking at LAX, he emphasized that anyone who spent serious time with Jeffrey Epstein should be held accountable, arguing it’s time for a reckoning. He pointed out the glaring double standards in society, especially when it comes to how people of color are treated compared to their white counterparts. If folks of color were involved in anything remotely close to what Epstein and his friends are accused of, you can bet such associations would be scrutinized under a magnifying glass.

What’s more, Hughley questioned why the public remains in the dark about some powerful people involved with Epstein, considering the lengths they’d go to expose others. He called it outrageous that some get a free pass while others bear the brunt of society’s judgment just for associating with the wrong crowd. As Hughley rightly pointed out, hanging out with the likes of Epstein should come with consequences. It’s time to rethink what it means to be ‘canceled’ in America — and maybe, just maybe, wealth and privilege shouldn’t come into play at all. Who knew airport small talk could lead to such big ideas?
