Gisele Bündchen Says She Turns Down 99 Percent of Jobs for Her Kids

Gisele Bündchen is 46, a mom of three, and the cover star of i-D magazine’s“Mother Issue,”where she poses in lingerie lifting a barbell. It’s her seventh cover for the magazine since her first back in December 1998, and she’s clearly not slowing down.

But the photos aren’t the part worth talking about. In the interview, Bündchen says she turns down 99 percent of the jobs she’s offered, and her reasoning comes down to one question: will she miss her daughter’s volleyball game? She welcomed her third child, a boy, with husband Joaquim Valente in February 2025, and she also shares Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex-husband Tom Brady. That’s a full house with a full schedule, and she’s made family time the priority.

She also shared her approach to fitness: weights three times a week, plus Pilates, yoga and jujitsu. Her mindset is the takeaway, though. She says working out isn’t something she has to do, it’s something she gets to do. That’s a lesson that works whether you’re training for a marathon or just keeping up with the grandkids.
