Hayden Panettiere's Boyfriend's Brother Zach Hickerson Speaks Out After South Carolina Arrest

Zach Hickerson, brother of Hayden Panettiere’s on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson, was arrested for alleged disorderly conduct following a bar altercation in South Carolina. He was later released on bond. Brian Hickerson was briefly detained after reportedly throwing a barstool but was released without charges, according to police. An eyewitness claimed the brothers were being heckled about Panettiere’s death before the altercation began.

The arrest comes weeks after Panettiere died on August 16 at age 36. No cause of death has been confirmed, and the autopsy showed no signs of trauma. The Hickerson brothers were both at the scene that day and attempted CPR after calling 911.

Speaking out after his release, Zach expressed frustration over the rumors surrounding the situation, saying,“It’s super frustrating, all that we’ve been through and all the rumors that get started and then people believe them.”He added simply,“I’m just trying to go get my car and go back to my life.”No charges were filed against Brian, and the investigation into Panettiere’s death continues.
