John Lennon's First Grandchild Has Arrived and His Name Is Aurelius

Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl have announced the birth of their son, Aurelius. The baby is the first grandchild of Beatles legend John Lennon and artist Yoko Ono. Sean, who is John Lennon’s only child, shared the news in a playful social media post where he called the newborn a“Human Bean.”Charlotte added her own humor, joking about sleep deprivation and asking for burping tips.

The couple have been together since 2007, meeting at Coachella, and are no strangers to the music world. They perform together as The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger. Charlotte recently played bass on St. Vincent’s tour, and Sean released his solo album“Asterisms”back in 2024. If the parenting playlist is any clue, little Aurelius is already getting an eclectic education. Mom mentioned playing Aphex Twin and Stravinsky for the baby, which is certainly a different lullaby approach.
