John Mulaney's DJ Khaled Joke Got Bleeped at the 2026 Emmys — And the Crowd Still Laughed

Mulaney told the room that every nominee up there knew that quote was BS — and that’s when the broadcast hit the censors.

The bleep didn’t stop the room. The audience laughed through it, and the clip made the rounds online within hours, which is exactly how these things go anymore. Fans also pointed out how much the whole bit felt like Mulaney’s old Saturday Night Update segments, just dropped into a ceremony that usually plays it safe.
