Kelly Osbourne is opening up about a family wound that never healed. On the“We Need to Talk”podcast, the 41-year-old said she and her older sister Aimee, 43, are not close and never have been. While Kelly and brother Jack grew up in front of cameras on“The Osbournes,”Aimee chose to stay out of the spotlight entirely, and Kelly said it often felt like her sister was embarrassed by the family.

The most honest moment came when Kelly said the hardest thing in her life is that she never got a big sister. She admitted she carries a resentment she’ll hold forever and ruled out any reconciliation, describing the two as polar opposites. Even so, she said she respects Aimee and accepts her, but won’t tolerate anyone who tries to change her or seems to thrive when she’s struggling.

There’s a bittersweet note underneath it all. The family lost Ozzy Osbourne in July 2025, and Aimee made a rare public appearance at the 2026 Grammys for his tribute. Grief can bring a family closer or reveal the cracks that were always there. Have you ever had to love a family member from a distance? Tell us your story in the comments.
