Ned LeDoux and Dan Seals Release Tearjerker Video for "God Must Be A Cowboy"

Ned LeDoux is carrying on his family’s cowboy legacy, but he’s doing it with a little help from a legend. He’s teamed up with the late Dan Seals for a new music video for“God Must Be A Cowboy.”The song originally hit the Top 10 back in 1983 for Seals, and now it’s getting a fresh take. The video, directed by Erika Rock, was filmed in Madison, Tennessee and shows LeDoux singing in a log cabin while archival footage of Seals plays on an old TV set. It’s simple, honest, and hits you right in the heart.

The duet is part of the upcoming tribute album“Dan Seals&Friends: The Last Duet,”set to drop on August 28. The album is packed with duets featuring country icons like Suzy Bogguss, Tanya Tucker, and Vince Gill. For Ned, this project is doubly meaningful — his father Chris LeDoux recorded the same song back in 1984. So he’s honoring both Dan Seals and his own family’s roots at the same time. Ned will also be performing at Red Rocks Amphitheater next month, so fans have plenty to look forward to.
