Rachel Dolezal Is Now Nkechi Diallo, and She Says She's a Certified Sex Coach

Nkechi Diallo, the woman most of us first met as Rachel Dolezal, has announced a brand-new career. She posted on Instagram that she’s now a certified sex coach after finishing more than 300 hours of training at The Sexology Institute. Her new online practice is called Bandwidth, and it focuses on intimacy and relationship coaching.

The pitch behind it is more everyday than you might expect. Diallo says the work is personal, pointing to her years as a single mother of three boys. She wants to serve single parents, parents of neurodivergent kids, and people whose jobs leave them stretched thin and disconnected. Those are real struggles for a lot of households, and she’s betting there’s room for a coach who’s lived some of it.

Of course, none of this happens in a vacuum. Diallo made national headlines in 2015 for claiming to be Black while her parents, Larry and Ruthanne Dolezal, are white. She resigned from the NAACP and lost teaching work amid the backlash, and she was fired from an Arizona teaching job in 2024. Ten years on, the question she’s really testing is whether the public can ever see somebody as more than their biggest mistake. What do you think?
