Rhea Seehorn is finally an Emmy winner. The actress took home Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14 for her role as Carol Sturka in Apple TV’s sci-fi series Pluribus. It was her first nomination and first victory in the lead actress category, a milestone that came after three previous Emmy nods, including two for her celebrated work as Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul.

The competition was as tough as it gets. Seehorn beat out Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, Keri Russell and Zendaya, who had already won this category twice for Euphoria. During her acceptance speech, Seehorn thanked Pluribus creator Vince Gilligan for giving her the role of a lifetime and for building sets where actors feel safe enough to take creative risks.
