Security Breach at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner: What Was Cole Allen Thinking?

Cole Allen has truly left everyone scratching their heads after trying to breach security at the prestigious White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The California resident traveled across the country, making his way from Los Angeles to Chicago and then to the capital, all reportedly by train. After checking into the Washington Hilton days before the event, he attempted to breach the security perimeter the night before the dinner. Talk about a convoluted plan!

To make matters worse, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed that Allen is not cooperating with authorities, saying, “We are not viewing him as cooperating necessarily right now.” Investigators are now left piecing information together from those who know him. Allen is expected to face federal court charges related to the use of a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer.
