Steven McBee Sr. is back on the farm. The 53-year-old patriarch of Bravo’s The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys was released from federal custody and returned home to Gallatin, Missouri, where his family has been waiting for months. His son Steven McBee Jr. announced the release on September 11, and the family has been soaking up every minute since.
The legal road here was long. Steven Sr. pleaded guilty in 2024 to a crop insurance fraud scheme tied to the sale of more than 1.2 million bushels of corn and nearly 416,000 bushels of soybeans. He was sentenced to two years in October 2025 but served less than one. He still owes over $4 million in restitution, forfeited more than $3.1 million, and will remain under home confinement for four to six months.
For the McBee family, though, the headline is simpler than the court records. Cole McBee got to introduce his baby daughter Tate, born in August, to her grandfather for the first time.
