Taylor Frankie Paul Admits She Cheated on Her 'Bachelorette' Fiancé With Her Ex

Taylor Frankie Paul didn’t hold anything back on the“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”Season 5 premiere. She told cameras she cheated on her“Bachelorette”fiancé, Doug Mason, with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, and that the texting started the same night she got back from filming the ABC show. She described her feelings for Mortensen as an addiction, adding that she doesn’t want a complicated life, but it’s all she knows.

There’s a lot more backstory than one confession. ABC canceled her“Bachelorette”season in March, before it aired, after a 2023 domestic incident video leaked. Paul ended her engagement to Mason a month after filming wrapped. The two later tried to reconcile, and that didn’t last. Meanwhile, Mortensen showed up at her house during the episode, which was filmed back in January.

The part that deserves the most attention isn’t the drama. Paul and Mortensen are still in a custody battle over their two-year-old son, Ever, and each side has accused the other of abuse. Reality TV moves on quickly. That little boy’s story doesn’t.
