Report Reveals 47 Abusers at Interlochen Arts Academy, Including Jeffrey Epstein: What Parents Need to Know

A new independent report has shaken the foundation of one of America’s most prestigious arts academies. The Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan is facing serious allegations after a 100-page report found 70 incidents of sexual misconduct involving 47 abusers — including convicted pedophile and former donor Jeffrey Epstein. The report is based on interviews with 180 alumni who came forward with accounts stretching back decades.

According to the findings, most of the abuse occurred before the year 2000, and about a third of those accused are now deceased. The school has taken steps like demolishing a building Epstein donated to in June of this year. They’ve also turned over all names to the Grand Traverse County Prosecutor’s Office. But so far, only five names have been released to the public — all of them dead or previously convicted. That leaves 42 abusers whose identities remain unknown.
